At 25 weeks I wanted to put together a list of items that I am constantly turning to for comfort, relief and just basic getting along items. These are all items that I own and love or are close to what own and love.
| Belly Butter: My mom makes me a completely organic version from scratch because it's what she loves to make (lotion, soaps, scrubs, etc...). This brand and version comes the closest to what she makes and it's what I would use if I didn't have her making her version.
| PreNatel Gummies: I started taking these even before we got pregnant and have stayed with them throughout the pregnancy. I don't like swallowing huge pills and these have a decent enough flavor.
| Leggings: At 25 weeks my belly is big enough that non stretchy pants and shorts are just plain annoying for me. I love that Target carries these cheap and well made leggings, capri's and shorts. I've stocked up on them, including some fun prints!
| Rainbow Flip Flops: I wear these year round here in FL anyway and I'm pretty sure they will be my go-to's in my 3rd trimester as well.
| Toms: When wearing flip flips isn't the best footwear for the weather or occasion, I head straight for one of my pair of Toms. I own 3 pairs already and really love these new shiny silver ones available!
| Prenatel Yoga DVD: I just started this recently and have no idea why I waited so long! I need this one-on-one time to myself and the stretching and strengthening is something I desperately needed.
| Massager: I have back related issues to begin with (due to poor posture all my life and my career as an equestrian) so it's no surprise that I love anything (or anyone) that will massage or rub my aching back. I found this while Christmas shopping over Thanksgiving weekend and was IN LOVE. I wish the heat feature was stronger but mostly I love that it can endlessly bang out all the knots in my aching shoulders and soothe my lower back.
| Bubble Bath + Lavender Oil: I have been taking bubble baths almost daily since the first trimester for both relaxation and aching back relief. I love the combination of a great smelling bubble bath with a few drops of essential oil to heighten the relaxation..
| Bath Gloves: At 25 weeks mild rough patches have popped up under my arms and sometimes on my back. My normal body wash "poof" wasn't cutting it anymore and I grab these at Target. I use them twice a week or when I feel the need. Work great so far!
