DAY 1 was a LONG but wonderful day. We actually saw a lot of things AND got in a well needed nap! We walked the city 95% of the time we were there. Even though it was December in NY it was mild and sunny on our first day.
Gratuitous self-portraits. Taken at Pulitzer Fountain on the corner of Central Park S and 5th Ave.
We loved Bryant Park. It was just a little slice of happiness. The little buildings + the seasonal ice ring. It was charming.
No, we did not go ice skating. We thought about it. I haven't ice skated since I lived in Alaska!
Times Square Panoramic View!
Times Square Self-Portrait! We also got some fun shots of us on the big screen.
Big Christmas Balls Ornaments! We loved that we were in the city during the Holiday's. It felt so much more special. Festive.
Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree. I snapped the photo during a Zamboni break, so no ice skaters in the photo. The tree was beautiful but this place was PACKED! We went downstairs and grabbed some Starbucks from the huge counter they have. Jason got a kick out of talking with the employee's. Coffee nerd + Ex Starbucks Employee = Fun.
Coffee break at Rockefeller Center. We did go into the Lego store. Lots of fun things and a great installation of a dragon made out of Lego's runs throughout the store.
